Airflow before heat
Long dry times in a commercial laundry are an airflow problem far more often than a heating problem. Exhaust runs, lint accumulation, shared venting and makeup air are checked and measured. Replacing a heating component on a restricted exhaust simply repeats the failure, and in a shared vent system the fault can originate at a different machine entirely.
Gas dryer safety
Commercial gas dryers carry live gas lines, gas valves and igniter assemblies. Attendants and staff must not attempt to test, adjust or reset any gas component. If gas is smelled, clear the room, avoid operating switches, and contact the gas utility from outside the building. Gas and combustion work is carried out only by a qualified technician.
